Second Batch Of Kwara Pilgrims Returns From 2025 Hajj

A second group of 548 Kwara State pilgrims who participated in the 2025 Hajj has safely returned to Nigeria, touching down in Ilorin, the state capital, on Monday evening.
The pilgrims were transported by Max Air and arrived at the Babatunde Idiagbon International Airport, Ilorin, at 7:01 p.m.. This latest batch also included one pilgrim from Ondo State and three designated officials who assisted with the journey.

—all representing the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.
The return of this second batch follows the earlier arrival of 558 pilgrims on Saturday, as previously reported by DAILY POST. With this latest group, a total of 1,106 Kwara pilgrims have now completed their pilgrimage and returned from the Holy Land of Saudi Arabia.
According to flight records, the Max Air aircraft that brought the pilgrims back to Nigeria departed Tunde Idiagbon International Airport at approximately 8:52 p.m., shortly after completing the disembarkation process.
Authorities confirmed that all pilgrims were in good health and expressed gratitude for the safe and orderly return of the faithful.
