Nigerian music sensation Kizz Daniel, born Daniel Anidugbe, has hinted at a possible retirement from recording new music as he shifts his focus toward family life.
The award-winning artist made the revelation on social media platform 𝕏 while responding to a fan who commented on his rapid music releases. This comes just days after dropping his latest project, “Lemon Chase”, and teasing another extended play titled “Orange Chase.”
A fan remarked:
“VADO wan finish us with overfeeding ✌”
Kizz Daniel replied:
“I have over 600 songs I want to dish out before I hang boot, so ♂️.”
Family Over Studio
In a follow-up post, the “Buga” crooner explained his decision further, stating that his family had expressed concerns over his dedication to work at the expense of personal time.
“No more recording for me… Just enjoying life like it should be. My family don diss me say I choose studio over them, I’m changing,” he wrote.
Though he has not confirmed a formal retirement, his message suggests a clear intention to step back from creating new music, at least temporarily, to prioritize his personal life.
