Mob Justice After Senior Naval Officer Killed — You Won’t Believe What Happened Next!A senior Nigerian Navy officer, identified as Commodore M. Buba, was tragically stabbed to death by unidentified assailants in Kaduna North Local Government Area on Sunday.
According to eyewitnesses, the officer was attacked under the Kawo flyover at Kawo bus stop when suspected criminals attempted to rob him of his phone and other belongings. The incident reportedly occurred while he was returning from the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji, where he was enrolled in a training course. His vehicle had developed a flat tire, forcing him to stop at the roadside—an unfortunate situation the attackers took advantage of.
The wounded officer was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. His remains have since been deposited at the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna.
At the time of this report, neither the military nor the police have released an official statement regarding the incident. However, local reports suggest that an angry mob apprehended and lynched one of the attackers shortly after the assault.
Meanwhile, a separate tragedy is unfolding within the Nigerian Air Force, where Airman Wulumba A.S., a member of the 2003 regular intake, reportedly died in a guardroom at the Special Operations Command (SOC) in Bauchi. He had been detained for arriving late to duty, allegedly due to health issues.
According to Eyesjournals the airman was detained on the orders of Group Captain Ofile, his commanding officer. His sister, Numdarai Joy Wulumba, disclosed that he had contacted her on May 4, 2025, to report his detention, explaining that his tardiness was due to illness. Despite this, his plea was reportedly ignored.
Wulumba’s service number was listed as NAF 03/21103. Sources say the Air Force Command is working to downplay the circumstances surrounding his death.
