Former Abia State Governor and current Senator representing Abia North, Orji Uzor Kalu, has made a dramatic declaration of his commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating he is fully prepared to sacrifice his life for the party’s triumph in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking passionately at his Igbere country home on Monday, Kalu told journalists that his belief in President Bola Tinubu’s leadership remains unshaken. He emphasized that Tinubu’s performance is winning over Nigerians and positioning the APC for another electoral victory.
“APC is strong in Abia. Like I said in my interview, I am ready to lay down my life for the party,” Kalu declared.
He stressed that his loyalty runs deep:
“I am a member of the party and a strong one at that. I am APC to the core. That’s why APC is strong in Abia North.”
The former Senate Chief Whip assured supporters that the APC is gearing up to repeat its electoral success in the state and deliver for the President once again.
“Our party will work hard to deliver the President in the state. We have done it in the past, and we will do it again in 2027.”
Addressing Nigeria’s economic challenges, Kalu urged patience, expressing confidence in Tinubu’s recovery efforts:
“The economy needs time to bounce back. The President is working to ensure that the economy bounces back,” he said.
