Full List Of Road Projects Commissioned By President Tinubu As He Mark 2nd Anniversary

As part of activities commemorating his second year in office, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Saturday commissioned an array of strategic road projects across all geopolitical zones of Nigeria, signaling a major push in his administration’s infrastructure development agenda.

Naija News reports that the President led the groundbreaking event with the commissioning of the first phase of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway in Lagos. Simultaneously, he virtually unveiled several other major projects across the federation, with a firm directive to the Minister of Works, David Umahi, and other supervising ministers to ensure compliance with local content regulations, Nigerian workforce training, and technology transfer mandates.

Below is the full list of road projects commissioned and flagged off by President Tinubu across the six zones:

South-South Region

• Calabar-Ugep-Katsina-Ala Road (Section II) – Benue/Cross River States

• East-West Road (Section II, Sub-section I) – Eleme Junction to Ahoada, Rivers State

• Alesi-Ugep Road Rehabilitation (Iyamoyung-Ugep Section) – Cross River State

• East-West Road Upgrade (15km) – Eleme Junction to Onne Port, Rivers State

South East Region

• Enugu-Port Harcourt Road Rehabilitation (Section III) – Enugu to Lokpanta

• Construction of a New Bridge at Akpoha – Ebonyi State

• Reconstruction of Collapsed Bridge at New Artisan Market – Enugu-Port Harcourt Road, Enugu State

South West Region

• Lagos-Shagamu-Ibadan Dual Carriageway Expansion (Section II) – Oyo State

• Ikorodu-Shagamu Road Rehabilitation – Lagos State

• Eko Bridge Emergency Repairs (4.1km) – Alaka, Surulere to Apongbon with all ramps

• Deep-Sea Port Access Road Construction – Epe to Shagamu-Benin Expressway, Lagos and Ogun States

North Central Region

• Shendam Bridge Construction – Plateau State

• Ilobu-Enrile Road Construction – Spanning Kwara and Osun States

North East Region

• Jimeta Bridge Construction – Yola, Adamawa State

North West Region

• Yakasai Badume-Damargu-Marken Zalli Road Reconstruction – Kano State

• Kano-Kwanar Danja-Hadeja Road Reconstruction (Section II: Kano-Tsalle) – Kano and Jigawa States
