Man Falls From 26-Storey Cocoa House In Ibadan

Panic gripped the business community in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Monday morning after an unidentified man reportedly fell from one of the upper floors of the 26-storey Cocoa House, the tallest building in the city.
Eyewitnesses described the scene as deeply shocking.
One bystander said:
“At first, I thought a huge bird was falling. It wasn’t until he hit the ground that I realized it was a person. I was too stunned to even reach for my phone.”
Another added:
“The man hit the roof near the security post before crashing to the ground. It was horrifying to watch.”
The reason for the fall remains unknown as of press time. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
In a statement issued Tuesday, Odu’a Investment Company Limited, which manages the Cocoa House property, confirmed the event.
According to Victor Ayetoro, Head of Branding and Communication for the firm:
“The individual was swiftly attended to by the emergency response team and taken to the University College Hospital, Ibadan, for urgent medical care.”
The company expressed deep concern and pledged full cooperation with ongoing investigations to determine what led to the fall.
