Skits And Smears!” – Soludo Breaks Silence On Alleged Ritual Video, Calls It a Dirty TrickGovernor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has dismissed allegations that he visited a native doctor in connection with his re-election campaign, labeling a circulating video as a “malicious fabrication” orchestrated by political detractors.
In a statement released on Wednesday by his Press Secretary, Christian Aburime, the governor clarified that the footage in question was taken during an engagement with local content creators and was, in fact, a comedy skit.
Aburime explained that the video emerged from a recent interactive session with young creatives in Anambra, where Governor Soludo encouraged innovation in the entertainment and creative sectors.
“One of the content creators performed a skit—a popular form of comedy in Nigeria—during the session to showcase their talent,” Aburime said. “It is disheartening that some individuals have chosen to twist this harmless act into something sinister.”
The press secretary reiterated the governor’s dedication to empowering the youth and supporting the state’s creative economy, referencing initiatives such as the newly launched Solution Fun City.
“Governor Soludo’s unwavering support for Anambra’s creative industry is clear. Projects like Solution Fun City highlight his commitment to youth development,” Aburime added.
The statement urged the public to disregard the false narrative and be cautious about spreading unverified content.
The government emphasized that Governor Soludo remains focused on implementing the Solution Agenda and called on the people of Anambra to rise above smear campaigns and back efforts aimed at transforming the state.
