Explosive Testimony: Diddy Allegedly Paid Me $100K To Bury Assault Video Of Cassie, Ex-Hotel Guard Tells Court
The heat turned up in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal s£x trafficking trial Tuesday as a former hotel security guard testified that the music mogul paid him $100,000 in hush money to secure surveillance footage showing Diddy violently assaulting singer Cassie Ventura in 2016.
Eddy Garcia, once a security guard at the InterContinental Hotel in L.A., took the stand under immunity and dropped bombshells: Combs allegedly begged him to make the damaging footage disappear, saying it could “ruin” him. A secret deal followed — complete with a FaceTime call involving Cassie, an NDA, and a brown paper bag stuffed with $100K in cash.
“Eddy, my angel, I knew you could help,” Diddy reportedly told Garcia before handing over the money and urging him to “lay low” and not make any big purchases.
Garcia testified that he split the cash with colleagues — keeping $30K for himself — after his boss greenlit the exchange.
Meanwhile, courtroom drama intensified as a woman was forcibly removed after yelling at Combs: “These motherf**ers are laughing at you!”* She later told reporters she was a supporter who felt the music icon was being mocked.
Also on the stand was Derek Ferguson, Diddy’s former CFO at Bad Boy Entertainment, who revealed curious financial transfers between Diddy, Cassie, and her father — including three $20,000 transactions in December 2011 now under the microscope.
The trial continues Wednesday with more accusers expected to testify, including Bryana Bongolan — who once accused Diddy of dangling her over a balcony — and another alleged victim testifying under the pseudonym “Jane.”
Diddy, 55, has pleaded not guilty to multiple serious charges including racketeering, s£x trafficking, and coercion. If convicted, he could spend the rest of his life behind bars.
